Our popular 6 Week Beginner Courses are held throughout the year and can be booked in advance. We also provide Improver Level classes at each of our venues.

We teach cross body style ‘on 1′ and aim to teach all our Salsa classes in a fun manner, but with enough information to give all our students the confidence to take what they have learnt on to the dancefloor.

We also hold Workshops throughout the year where students have a chance to try new dance styles such as Bachata, Cha Cha Cha, Merengue and Rueda (Salsa Wheel).

Our Party Nights are a great chance for everyone to get to meet and dance with each other from the three different clubs.

We are able to offer Private Lessons for individuals, couples or small groups. This has been used in the past to give a confidence boost and for those thinking of starting one of our Beginner Courses.

We are also available to hire for Parties where we can DJ and hold fun Salsa lessons for your friends, family or work colleagues. If you are getting married please contact us to find out about our Wedding Packages.

For details of Private Lessons, Parties or Wedding Packages please email us: salsacascara@hotmail.co.uk or visit our website www.salsacascara.co.uk

Brewery Square is so named as it is located on the site of the old Eldridge Pope Brewery which closed down in recent years and the site was sold in 2002. Now the site is being developed by Waterhouse and marketed by Savills.

One of the unique features of Brewery Square is the water supply, water for the development is being drawn up from the old brewery’s own aquifer providing natural spring water just as it has done since 1880.

This Summer is set to be a great one in Dorchester. With holiday plans under threat from volcanic ash, many local people are looking closer to home for ways to relax and have a good time.

With so much going on in the county town this summer, a holiday at home is unlikely to disappoint. Whether you prefer a quiet rural escape or live music and animated crowds, Dorchester can provide the perfect solution to both.

Dorchester Carnival, which takes place on 19th June this year, will take on the theme ‘Mother Nature’ and promises to be a spectacular visual community event. The carnival usually draws many visitors from outside of Dorchester and showcases local talent as well as plenty of live music and trade stalls whilst raising money for numerous charities. A bag of coppers is a must.

Dorset County Show also takes place in the county town on 4th and 5th September 2010, a show that attracts thousands of visitors from all over the UK. If you enjoy a day out with the family or have a fondness for rural life, it is definitely not to be missed. There will be monster trucks, plenty of livestock, animal shows, craft tents, over 450 trade stands, copious real ale supplies and plenty more. Don’t forget your wellies!

If crowds are not your thing, it would be worth considering the natural beauty surrounding Dorchester which comes to life during the warm months. If you haven’t already, venture out on a cycle ride to one of the nearby villages or go for a leisurely walk on Maiden Castle. Take a stroll through Thorncombe woods and experience the breathtaking scene of Thomas Hardy’s cottage on a summer’s day.

Whilst summer in Dorchester usually translates to glorious sunshine with intervals of rain and the odd cloudy day, one thing that can be guaranteed is that there is plenty to do come rain or shine. What is your favourite thing to do on a sunny day in Dorchester?
