Athelhampton House

Athelhampton HouseAthelhampton was built back in the 15th Century by Sir William Martyn and his family stayed in the 160 acre fortified manor for four generations.

It wasn’t until 1891 when the hall was purchased by Alfred Cart de Lafontaine that the formal gardens that it is so well know for today finally appeared.
